Who writes the Storyfam blog?
The Storyfam blog is led by Robeen Simeon, founder and CEO of Storyfam, with the help of an editorial team of parents, specialized writers, and reviewers. Every article is attributed to a named author whose photo, role, and bio appear on the page. Our authors share hands-on experience with children and family reading, and when a topic requires it we engage external specialists (speech therapists, child psychologists, teachers) for review.
Our editorial process
- Topic selection based on questions families actually ask us.
- Desk research from recognized sources (Ministry of Education, Eduscol, INSERM, Cairn, HAL, professional bodies, and peer-reviewed publications).
- Writing by a named author who contributes personal and professional experience.
- Editorial review and, when warranted, validation by an external specialist credited in the “Reviewed by” line.
- Publication with explicit mention of the publication date, last-updated date, reading time, and the list of sources consulted.
- Regular updates: articles are revisited and refreshed whenever a reference changes or a new reliable source becomes available.
Sources and citations
Every article cites its sources transparently, with a direct link to the original publication when available online. We favor institutional sources, peer-reviewed publications, and recognized professional bodies. A reference that cannot be verified is removed from the article.
AI usage
We use AI tools to assist with research, structure, and first-draft writing for some articles. Every article is then reviewed, completed, and edited by a named member of the Storyfam editorial team before publication. AI is never the final author: a human is always accountable for what is published.
Corrections and reports
If you spot a factual error, an outdated source, or a point that needs clarification, email us at [email protected]. We fix issues quickly and note the update date on the affected article.
