General terms and conditions of sale (GTCS)
1. Preamble
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern sales made on the storyfam.co website, operated by Robeen Simeon, a sole proprietor (self-employed entrepreneur), registered under SIREN number 822 522 918.
2. Products and services
The storyfam.co website offers the creation and sale of personalized books and other creative content for individuals. The essential characteristics of the products are presented on the website. The illustrations are not contractually binding.
3. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros, including all taxes. Storyfam reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the prices in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Order
All orders imply acceptance of these T&Cs. The customer will receive a confirmation email summarizing their order. Storyfam reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment for a previous order.
Before a personalized book is printed, a complete preview is generated and must be manually validated by the customer. Once this approval has been given, the order is sent to production and cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded.

5. Payment
Payment is made online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, or Google Pay via our secure service providers (Stripe, Apple, Google). Bank details are not stored by Storyfam.
6. Delivery
Products are delivered in digital format (files) or shipped to the address provided when ordering in the case of a paper version. Estimated delivery times are specified when ordering. Storyfam cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to carriers or force majeure.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the delivery information provided when ordering. No liability can be accepted in the event of an error, incomplete address, or return of the package due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
Delivery is deemed to have been made once the carrier indicates that the package has been delivered in its tracking system. It is the customer's responsibility to check the delivery status within a reasonable time after shipment and, if necessary, to make any claims to the carrier within the time limits specified by the carrier. After this period, no claims relating to delivery will be accepted.
In the event of absence at the time of delivery, failure to collect the package, or failure to make a claim within the time limits imposed by the carrier, no refund will be made. If the customer nevertheless wishes to have the item re-shipped, the costs of reprinting and delivery will be borne by the customer.

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to clearly personalized products.

Storyfam cannot be held liable for damage resulting from misuse of the purchased product. Storyfam's liability shall, in any event, be limited to the amount of the order.
9. Personal data
The personal data collected is necessary for processing orders. It is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.
10. Applicable law and disputes
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of Robeen Simeon's registered office, unless otherwise provided by public policy.
